Free upgrades

Registered users of PhileSplitter 3.x are eligable for a free upgrade to PhileSplitter 2003. Please contact us with your registration details to upgrade.

Problems with PhileSplitter 2003

If the "Split" option does not appear in Explorer even when shell extensions are installed, you might want to try upgrading your version of Internet Explorer and then re-installing PhileSplitter, although we're not 100% sure about this issue - it's a rare problem that seems to only happen on very basic Windows installations.

On multi-user operating systems, you must have administrator permissions to install PhileSplitter. In addition, the start menu shortcut and sound events are only installed for the user installing the software. This is due to limitations in the installation system we are currently using.

Problems with PhileSplitter 3.x

PhileSplitter 3.x is no longer supported since the release of PhileSplitter 2003 . If you do not wish to upgrade to 2003 you should upgrade to version 3.3 which fixes a number of known issues.
